Top Ten Tuesday - Top 10 Books on my Spring TBR List

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is the top ten books I must read this Spring! Most of these are brand new releases this Spring, but a few of them have been out for a while.

1. Forged by Erin Bowman - This is the third book in the Taken trilogy. I just reread the first two and I will be honest . . . I wasn't impressed. I am at the point of just reading the finale to see how everything ends.

2. Things We Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby

3. The Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver

4. All The Rage by Courtney Summers - Excited to have this ARC!

5. Inside the O'Briens by Lisa Genova - Also have this ARC!

6. Everything That Makes You by Moriah McStay

7. None of The Above by I.W. Gregorio

8. 5 to 1 by Holly Bodger

9. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

10. Cinder by Marissa Meyer - YES, I will finally start this series!

What books are you planning to read this Spring?

  3. Great list. I'm so torn on whether or not I want to read Forged. I wasn't impressed either but I also don't want to give up on the trilogy. I'll look forward to your review to see what you think.

I did however love Miss Peregrine's and Cinder. I hope you enjoy them as well.

    1. Thanks! I have heard great things about Miss Peregrine's and Cinder. I believe I will enjoy them. And I thought I liked the Taken series when I first read them. But then I just did a reread and realized how many issues I had with them. But yeah, I kind of just want to know how it ends. Maybe the third one will be better . . . hopefully? :)

  4. I have The Secrets We Keep and Inside the O'Briens on my list this week too! :) 5 to 1 has a great cover -- I hope the inside lives up to the outside. I really need to read the Miss Peregrine sequel -- I got it a year ago, and still haven't touched it!

  7. Excellent list! None of these are on my TBR at the minute, but they are all pretty much books I've heard of or I'm looking forward to. I haven't heard of the Lisa Genova book before though, but Still Alice is on my list. R x

  8. There are some interesting looking books on this list -- some that I've never heard of, and a few I've seen once or twice, but now my interest is piqued. This is my love/hate with TTTs about TBRs -- mine just gets LONGER!!

  13. Ooh, these look great! I LOVE CINDER. I hope you enjoy that one. And I want to read 5 to 1 a lot, aaaaand, yes and yes and yes to The Secrets We Keep and None of the Above. XD I hope they're as delicious as they look!! I wasn't a fan of Taken so I basically just deleted that series from my Goodreads. >_< MY BAD.

    1. Cait, I started Cinder last night and I am already almost done. I LOVE IT! How I have waited so long to read this series?? It's funny because for some reason, I rated Taken a 5 when I first read it. I rated the sequel a 5 too. Then I reread them and I thought: WTH?!? I lowered it to a 2. The sequel was a 3.

  14. I'm surprised you are planning to read the conclusion if you weren't really impressed with the first two books. But I guess with a trilogy you might as well see how it ends.

    1. Julie, believe me I know. I have gone back and forth. But I feel like if I have already read the first two, then I kind of have to read the last one.
